ABOUT
US
Our mission is to be the
National organisation representing and serving the interests of all Share Farmers which
includes Owners with a Share Farmer appointed those leasing farms and
farm managers and employees. Also to
attract young people into the industry, by providing assistance at any level
and through representation at industry events throughout the Australia. Establishing Dairy Farming as a profession
with distinct career pathways and to act and speak with one voice on Share
Farming/Lease/Managing and other important Dairy industry related issues To
form a bond or union among the Members and the Dairy Industry and to provide a
medium through which their opinions can be easily ascertained or expressed.
To
provide opportunities for continuing professional development for Members. To
form and maintain a Share Farmer information exchange service for Members.
To advance the general and social
interests of Share Farmers. To become Members to any other association or
professional body whether incorporated contributing to the Dairy Industry
altogether or in part similar to those of this Association. To correspond with
Industry bodies or individuals in the States or Territories of the Commonwealth
of Australia
and oversea on any matter relating to Dairy Farming interests. To provide advice to public institutions and
community organisations in response to requests from such organisations to provide NSFA representatives. To
subscribe and support local Sporting clubs and to grant donations for any
public purpose connected with the objects of the NSFA.
