SHAREFARMER Wanted
A position is currently available for a
sharefarmer with 100 to 200 cows (or is prepared to buy/lease cows) to join
with the owners 100+ cows on a larger irrigated dairy farm with a larger “Water
Right” in the Strathmerton area. This would be an opportunity to build up your
own herd of cows. The farm as a very good 30 swing over dairy, 18,000Lt vats, solar
hot water, undercover facilities, 300ton grain storage, good calf sheds, Bore
water in dairy and piped around farm to troughs. The farm is well layed out
with reuse. An extensive list of machinery available including Keenen mixer
wagon, Duncan Seeder and a full set of hay make plant.
A house is available on the farm with the
school bus going past the gate. Conditions are negotiable depending on
experience and what you bring to the operation.
